Villa Delle Palme is one of the most attractive and unusual buildings on the island of Lido, in the heart of Venice’s lagoon. Built in 1906 by the engineer Donghi, it maintains its original eclectic appearance that has been enhanced by recent refurbishment work. Its Liberty style blends with a number of Renaissance features to produce an extreme elegance with Modernist undertones. The first owners since the beginning kept on planting lot of palms in the six hundred square meter garden until they surrounded the hotel and this is the reason why the estate took this name. 
 
It was originally designed as a private residence, but was later cleverly converted to welcome guests in the early 1950s. Today its original structure remains unchanged and is characterised by a spacious Lobby and an impressive staircase linking the building’s three storeys and culminating in a series of panoramic terraces overlooking the lagoon of Venice. In fact, looking from the upper balcony (it is the second highest tower in the Lido) you can admire a magnificent scenery on S.Mark's Square and the rest of the area. This posting place has been used by many professional photographers because of its original position.  

Hotel Villa delle Palme is located in a central area of Lido di Venezia far from traffic and within easy reach on foot of shops and restaurants, or with St. Mark's Square just ten minutes away via vaporetto.
 
- From Venice Marco Polo airport (VCE), Take the Alilaguna water shuttle to Lido. Get off at Lido, turn right and walk along the path for 30 meters until you cross the bridge. Turn onto Via E. Dandolo, the second street on the left. Hotel Villa delle Palme is on the right hand side of Via E. Dandolo, no. 12.

- From Treviso San Giuseppe airport (TSS), Take the shuttle service that links Treviso airport with the Venice bus and vaporetto terminal in Piazzale Roma. From here take vaporetto number 51 or number 1. A constant vaporetto N (Night) service is also available. Get off at Lido, turn right and walk along the path for 30 meters until you cross the bridge. Turn onto Via E. Dandolo, the second street on the left. Villa delle Palme is on the right hand side of Via E. Dandolo, no. 12.

- From Venezia-Santa Lucia station, Take a public vaporetto: number 51 or number 1. A constant vaporetto N (Night) service is also available. Get off at Lido, turn right and walk along the path for 30 meters until you cross the bridge. Turn onto Via E. Dandolo, the second street on the left. Villa delle Palme is on the right hand side of Via E. Dandolo, no. 12.

- From Lido Terminal to the Hotel,  Turn right out of the terminal, after 300 metres you will cross a bridge, take Via Enrico Dandolo, the 2nd turning on the left approximately 100 metres beyond the bridge, turn left and you will find the hotel 50 metres further ahead on the right. The boat service to Saint Mark’s Square runs every 5 mins during the day and every 20 mins throughout the night and the journey time is approximately 12 mins.

- You can arrive directly to Lido with your car. Use the public ferry-boat service that leaves from Tronchetto pier, located at the end of the long bridge that links Venice with the mainland. On driving off the ferry-boat in Lido, take an immediate right and follow the road which runs alongside the lagoon for circa three minutes, until you reach a square with lots of buses. Cross the square and continue straight ahead. Pass the bridge and take the second road on the left, Via E. Dandolo. Villa delle Palme is on the right hand side, at no. 12. You can park your car in the garden of the villa.
