- From Venice Marco Polo Airport, head towards the city centre following signs to Mestre and take the Castellana exit. Signs for the hotel Garibaldi can be seen along this road.

- Taxis are available 24 hours a day from the airport terminal. The number 15 bus departs the airport every 30 minutes and stops at the bus station opposite the hotel. The nearest train station to the hotel Garibaldi is Venice Mestre. Buses regularly depart for the historical city centre from the bus station across the road from the hotel, and take around ten minutes. Wandering around the streets and lanes of Venice is best done on foot, and there are plenty of gondolas waiting to carry visitors along the famous waterways.
