The Boscolo Dei Dogi is in a secluded corner of Venice and is regarded as one of the most spectacular hotels in Venice. Built in an ancient palace that once housed the French embassy, the hotel completed an exhaustive restoration in 2001 to bring the premises back to its original splendor. The unique Venetian styles intact and the hotel now looks much as it did four centuries ago.
The guestrooms have all the modern conveniences that one would expect from a luxury hotel, while retaining the décor and furnishing-style of the 18th century. The hotel also has a secret courtyard garden, obscured behind the high walls of the property, where guests can take retreat to a place that has offered respite to both kings and nuns in the distant past.
The hotel's grand hall spans the width of the building, providing a remarkable gallery that overlooks the lagoon. When guests decide to venture out, the hotel offers free shuttle boats to various points of the city.
